Pre-Bill
Stop waiting for the bill, forget unknown healthcare costs, and throw out the idea of overly complex insurance. Get back to better health in a few simple steps.

What is a Pre-Bill?
A pre-bill is an estimation for your medical procedure from your doctor. You will ask the provider for a prebill and they will send you an estimate with procedure details, including CPT codes.
When To Contact Us
If your medical procedure costs more than $2,000, please contact us to speak with a Start Care Coordinator. We will assist you in organizing your medical procedure and ensure that you receive the best care at the best price.

What Do You Do?
Obtain your pre-bill from your provider and upload it to the “Pre-Bill” section on your Start Portal. From there, we handle the process for you. We will keep you informed through email and update the status of your pre-bill on your portal notifying you once it’s approved. Once approved, we adjust the amount on your Start Card to cover the procedure, and you can make the payment on the day of the procedure. That’s it – hassle-free!
IT’S KEY to pay within 24 hours the day of the procedure. The card will only hold the approved amount for only 24 hours.
